Beagle The Beagle probably originated by crossing the harrier and ancient English hounds. There are two types of beagles, one with smooth but not particularly fine hair and the other with rough hair. Beagles come in blue with black tigering, white, black, orange or typical hound tricolor. The Beagle is affectionate, cheerful, clean and tranquil.
