Bullmastiff The Bullmastiff originated in 1924 by crossing Mastiffs and Bulldogs. A powerfully built but not cumbersome dog the Bullmastiff is fearless, serious, obedient and affectionate. Its coat is short and stiff and comes in all shades of fawn, red and tiger. A Bullmastiff requires frequent exercise and controlled diet to prevent obesity.
